DESCRIPTION
A GOOGLE SPREADSHEET BUDGET that lists ALL the items that you'll need to purchase to set up your office, the price and the tax on those items, and the total amount of money you'll need to begin operations.

INSTRUCTION
  • Be sure to list any HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, FURNITURE and EQUIPMENT realistically needed to create your business.
  • Formatting must make the spreadsheet clear and readable
  • Functions, Formulas & Calculations must be used to accurately process the numbers and allow for flexibility
  • Consider grouping items by the categories above (Hardware, Software, Furniture, Equipment, Expenses)
  • Include LINKS to the online vendors who will sell you the items in your budget

Additionally, you can also include any ongoing monthly EXPENSES (Cellphone Carrier, Webhosting) that you think you'd need above what you already have available from your "home office".

EVALUATION (10 marks)
  • CONTENT (5 Marks)
    • Realistic inclusion of all necessary purchases for your business
    • Accurate and competent calculations and formulas of taxes and totals
  • FORMAT (5 Marks)
    • Neatly labeled columns and headings
    • Appropriately formatted cells depending on the type of data presented

DUE DATE: (Tuesday, Jan 6th, 2009)
  • Name your spreadsheet appropriately - starting with your LAST name (always!)
  • Submit your spreadsheet by
    • Sharing it with your teacher (in "to Edit" mode) or
    • EXPORTING it as an XLS and saving it to the appropriate HANDINS folder
